Finalmente se anunciaron a los nominados a la edición 2014 de los Peoples Choice Awards, uno de los premios más tradicionales en el espectáculo norteamericano, desde que se instalaran en 1970. La mecánica del concurso contempla siempre la elección del público, que primero determina quiénes serán los nominados y luego, entre éstos, a los ganadores.

En esta ocasión, la serie musical Glee es la líder de la contienda con ocho nominaciones. Le siguen Katy Perry, que lideró las categorías musicales con cinco, y Sandra Bullock, que acumuló cinco candidaturas en los principales rubros fílmicos.
