MTV Video Music Awards: Kendrick Lamar y la lista completa de nominados

El rapero Kendrick Lamar consiguió  ocho nominaciones para liderar las candidaturas de los premios MTV Video Music Awards, informó la cadena televisiva en su página web.

Por detrás de Lamar se situaron Katy Perry y The Weeknd, con cinco menciones cada uno.

Kendrick Lamar con "HUMBLE" será candidato al premio al mejor video del año, categoría en la que también compiten Bruno Mars ("24K Magic"), Alessia Cara ("Scars To Your Beautiful"), DJ Khaled ft. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller ("Wild Thoughts") y The Weeknd ("Reminder").

Asimismo, Lamar se las verá con Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd y Lorde para llevarse el premio al mejor artista del año.

Como novedad, los MTV Video Music Awards no distinguen este año entre hombres y mujeres, por lo que las categorías de mejor video de artista femenina y mejor video de artista masculino se han fundido en el premio al mejor artista del año.

Los galardones MTV Video Music Awards se entregarán el próximo 27 de agosto en una ceremonia que tendrá lugar en el Forum de Los Ángeles.
