Critics' Choice Awards: "Birdman" encabeza las nominaciones

"Birdman", la comedia negra del mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, lideró con 13 las nominaciones a los Critics' Choice Awards, seguida de "El gran hotel Budapest" con 11 y "Boyhood" con ocho.

"Birdman" optará a los premios de mejor película, mejor actor, mejor actor secundario, mejor actriz secundaria y mejor director, entre otros. Con ellas, el mexicano apuntala su rutilante carrera hacia los Oscar tras liderar también las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro.

Además de las tres cintas anteriores, entre las nominadas a mejor película también están "Perdida", "The Imitation Game", "Nightcrawler", "Selma", "The Theory of Everything", "Unbroken" y "Whiplash".

Otra de las sorpresas en la lista de los nominados fue "Relatos salvajes", película argentina protagonizada por Ricardo Darín, que competirá en la categoría de lo más destacado en lengua extranjera.

La gala de entrega de los Critics' Choice Awards será el 15 de enero, será presentada por Michael Strahan y habrá premios especiales para Kevin Costner, Ron Howard y Jessica Chastain.

Los Critics' Choice Awards los entrega la Broadcast Film Critics Association y son uno de los hitos de la temporada de premios de cine y televisión en Estados Unidos, que culminará con la entrega de los Oscars el 22 de febrero.
