Drake y The Chainsmokers lideran nominaciones a los Billboard

La revista Billboard dio a conocer la lista oficial de nominados a los premios que entregarán en mayo próximo. Drake, The Chainsmokers y Twenty One Pilots son algunos de los artistas que encabezarán la gala.

El rapero canadiense Drake y el dúo estadounidense The Chainsmokers tienen 22 nominaciones cada uno. Entre las categorías lideradas por el intérprete de "One Dance" están Mejor artista, Mejor artista masculino, Mejor Billboard 200, entre otras. El 2016 fue uno de los mejores años para Drake, así que muchos pronostican que se llevará varios premios el domingo 21 de mayo.

Mientras que el dúo neoyorquino, arrasó con charts musicales en todo el mundo. El tema "Closer", junto a la cantante Halsey, lideró por varias semanas las listas en EE.UU. y Reino Unido. Era de esperar su presencia dentro de la lista de nominados a los Billboard Music Awards 2017. Entre las categorías que tiene a  The Chainsmokers están: Mejor artista, Mejor dúo/grupo y Mejor artista 100 y más.

Twenty One Pilots, dúo de Ohio, sigue con 17 nominaciones, después aparece la bella Rihanna con 14, la sigue The Weeknd con 13, quien compite con Drake en la categoría Mejor Artista Masculino, y Beyoncé con 8 nominaciones.

Zayn Malik también está nominado a los Billboard Music Awards 2017. El ex integrante de One Direction aparece en la categoría Mejor nuevo artista junto a Alessia Cara, Lukas Graham, entre otros.

Los premios Billbooard se llevarán a cabo el domingo 21 de mayo en Las Vegas.
